Rugged, accurate pressure transducers for measuring water level. SDI-12 or RS232 output.
Campbell Scientific's Submersible Pressure Transducers provide reliable, accurate pressure/level measurements that are fully temperature compensated. The CS451 & CS5456 replace the CS450 & CS455
Output is either SDI-12 or RS-232 to be compatible with a range of measuring devices including Campbell Scientific dataloggers.
The cable is rugged Hytrel cable that remains flexible, even under harsh environmental conditions. The cable incorporates a vent tube to compensate for atmospheric pressure fluctuations. To prevent water vapor from entering the inner cavity of the transducer, the vent tube opening should terminate inside a desiccated enclosure or a desiccant tube.
The static accuracy is ±0.1% FS over a 0° to 60°C temperature range.
A high accuracy ±0.05% variant is also now available as an option.
The CS456 has a titanium body, while the CS451 is made from stainless steel.
