Verification of flow meters for consent compliance
Many Regional Councils now require flow meters to be verified as accurate on a regular basis for water take consent compliance.
The requirement for this verification (if any) will be detailed in your consent. Typically, if you have a mechanical flow meter they require yearly verification. If you have an electronic flow meter the requirement is five yearly.
